Any runners here?

I know what you mean.

I think many if not most running injuries would be avoided if

1) People did not run through pain.

2) people spent more time getting the right shoes.

That right there is the truth! I know right now that I need to get a new pair. I am having more soreness and when that happens I know I need to get new shoes.

It has tons of different workouts (weights, yoga, even hiking, kayaking, even driving (!). It has a treadmill walk or a treadmill run options that use your stride length and number of steps to calculate. I used that for the first time on the treadmill today. It underestimated my stride length but I calibrated it based on what the treadmill told me so next time I should be good to go.

That's pretty cool!

I really just do mine for cardio 'health' so I just set it at the speed I want and do it that way.

Don't have the attention span to run. I do like mountain biking though, more to look at.

I love to bike too. We have a kick ass route that we do. Running can get boring which is why I do it in front of the TV. LOL. I can set the treadmill for 7mph and be done with a workout in 30 minutes. I don't do it more than 3 days in a row and do something different all the time so I don't get bored.

Running is quick thats for sure. I get majorly bored running on a treadmill, even with a TV on, so I only do that when its raining. I much prefer running outside. There's plenty to look at, esp where I run (Dilworth), or, even better, the Loop at Wrightsville ;)
