I voted Jalen Walker because I think the trade back options won't be very appealing. I don't want to move back just for the sake of it if there isn't good return.

I think he most likely goes to Jax at 5 but if he's there at 7 then NYJ takes him.

I think with walker you have a pretty stable and decent floor.   With some of the others the floor is lower but yeah the ceiling is the roof.   We just cant risk that as a franchise at this point

According to ESPN NFL draft analyst Matt Miller, Sanders should want to play for the Steelers and him making it that far would be a good thing for him and for Pittsburgh.

Miller points to the Steelers run game and offensive line as reasons Sanders should want to play in Pittsburgh. Those are both fairly arguable points but the run game is going to need a serious overhaul after Najee Harris left in free agency. He also notes that Sanders is a good fit with head coach Mike Tomlin.

If the Steelers do decide to target Sanders, they would almost certainly have to trade up ahead of the New Orleans Saints at a minimum. If the Steelers think he's the answer, it would be an expensive move to go up and get him.

 

For you guys keeping score at home, Saints are at 9, your carolina panthers 8.   Probably not feasible for either team but there is certainly a way to thread the needle and making it happen.  But it would have to be a poo load of capital and maybe a player or 2.    Maybe minka?

and right on cue todd mcshay talks about Sanders dropping and teams having to get to 8 to get him before the saints.  He lays out what a trade up would look like.  around the 27 minute mark.  He said teams are  really high on Walker

I would literally be happy with just a 2nd in a trade back with less compensation given the weakness of this class. I do think OTs look better but with Moton at 30 mil this year and this teams unwillingness to make players uncomfortable with competition I see that as unlikely. Hopefully someone blind falls in love with Sanders. Just like in free agency it only takes one team to make it work.

I see the Patriots taking an OT (probably Membou or Campbell) or Hunter/Carter, depending on who is on the table.  Jax, from what I heard a while back, loves TMac, but 5 is rich for him.  Graham is most often mocked to Jax at #5, as you say.

I hope Pats reach for OT but I think they will take Hunter if he's there.  There is a chance though that hunter and Carter are gone at picks 2 and 3.  Then pats probably take OT or reach on TMac, I think.

I mention this topic in the new thread I just put in the 2023 Draft section.  The Jets would really love Hunter (based on some intense research (web surfing) I did.  While I think they take hunter, the local writers seem really focused on the OL
