Thread for the people who stuck by Matt Moore

WHo the hell was threading the pass to Gettis and giving him a catchable ball.

No the differance was that Gettis and Lafell were getting open and had more time 2 get open.

Wasn't Gettis the guy who dropped a TD pass from Moore that hit him right in the hands.

Moore also threw a pick 6 2 a dlinemen. So they both made mistakes.

Moore made Gettis look today not the other way around.

No the whole team made each other look good. Oline, Steve being back, solid def, young wr stepping up. Matt making better decision.

P55 you're starting 2 be a asshole.

You act like if people don't slurp Matt we are wrong.

Matt Had a very good game But alot of things happen in the panthers favor that weren't happening early this year. For Matt or Jimmy.

Oline pass blocking better

Young WR taking advantge of single coverage and catching the ball

Def. not letting the turnovers by smith and Dwill hurt us.

Knocking out the Alex Smith so David Carr can handcuff their offense.

John Kasey still being a G with a big leg

No specialteam Mistakes.

Matt did great but we did have alot of things go our way.

I don't care if you like Moore or not. I don't care if you want to give him credit or not. And I surely don't care if I piss you off.

But anyone who knows football also knows that the one player that touches the ball on every offensive play is the quarterback. And the guy who influences the offense the most of anyone is clearly the quarterback. You Clausen nut hangers piss me off with all the crap. Suddenly the offense goes from averaging 10 points to 23 (should have been 30), suddenly Gettis gets more TDs than he has all year, sudenly Lafell has almost 100 yards, we win the time of possession for the first time all year and suddenly it is everyone's good effort.

No doubt Kasay had a great game, Lloyd kicked the crap out of the ball, Gettis held some great passes, even LaFell caught 2 great passes.

But the difference in the game today on offense was Moore. Plain and simple. Everyone but Clausen nut hangers readily see it.

No man, Moore did it all. He made the tackles, called the plays, put on #4 and kicked the FG too! Read what PFFL said earlier, he decides who deserves to post in this thread, apparently threads in this forum have now become like 5-year-olds' clubhouses.

PantherFanForLife is the Randy Hedberg of the Huddle.

The more you post the more credit you lose. Only you and a couple of others that have INVESTED so much in trying to convince anyone and everyone how horrible of a QB Matt Moore, continue to have this attitude.

You're a sad loser.

I thought the center touches the ball on every play, too...

That hurts so much coming from someone who stays up until 3AM defending someone they've never met. Go to bed, you probably have some homework due tomorrow.

I also gave Moore credit for doing well, but your blind pathetic ass didn't see it because you were too busy trying to convince people things they saw with their own eyes.

Change what you want but I was at the game and saw it all. Moore was the difference plain and simple. Everyone else can see what you want to argue about. I really thought after today things would be better but people like you never change. I knew I should just enjoy the win instead of coming on here and putting up with all the crap threads from people like you. Have at it I am going to just move on. Arguing with you is like hitting my head against the wall. It is painful and serves no useful purpose.

Whatever dude Matt did everything. Oline played the same as they did 2 weeks ago. Having smith doesn't matter either.

I'll be honest, I didn't think Moore could get it done, and didn't know what to think of the qb situation. I was of the opinion that the season was lost (which it still probably is) and just let Clausen get reps.

I am so glad I was wrong! 1-15 is still better than 0-16 even if we don't win anymore games.

I don't think Moore did it alone, I think it was a team effort, but he sure was great... and so was Gettis imo. Gettis made some nice plays, including taking a ball away from a DB for a first down.

If he sucks for the rest of the season, nobody can take away how well he played today. I just hope he plays this well for the rest of the season.

You seem to be the only reasonable guy in your little group. Kudos for being able to see beyond the crap and give a player his due. You would think this was a discussion among rival fans not fans of the same team. Amazing why people can't be happy when we win and give players their due.

    • So this has been one of my biggest concerns with Canales and it's the downside of having some young offensive guy who doesn't have full staff control. like what is the org chart for this decision?  With canales, who does he know or has worked with that he can tap? He hasn't been in Seattle in 2 seasons and all those guys are gone anyway. He wasn't even that high up on the org chart in Seattle so it's unclear who he would have regularly interacted with. QB coaches generally aren't going to be in the split squad meetings, at least not regularly. Just glancing at the coaching staff, Clint Hurt jumps out. He was DC in 2022 and is currently the dline coach in Philadelphia, but that team is the brainchild of roseman and i'd be very hesitant to bring in someone who was allowed to walk from seattle and would be having a SUBSTANTIAL decline in talent here in Carolina. With Tampa, that defense is a shambles and fans want Bowles out. It's a very top heavy coaching staff too; Bowles is very involved so there isn't some bright up and comer, from what Bucs fans elsewhere have said. Someone from the Bills maybe? Morgan was last there in 2020. Who could he call? No one established is going to take that position for a few reasons. There very little talent on that side of the ball, so you're not getting the rockstar mercenaries to come here. They're probably going to struggle to bring in some hot up and comer, since anyone with ambition is going to see how Tepper handled evero's request to interview for other positions and not want to deal with that. That's a problem the team has created on its own and I don't know how to fix it until they have someone leave for a promotion, which is going to be difficult with how dogshit this franchise is. And then, any agent is going to tell their client that the Panthers let the whole defense eat poo heading into 2023 just to "give bryce weapons." they let two starters walk and traded away a third. who would want to come in to this? how are you going to build/retain talent? There's only a few logical possibilities from my perspective 1. Someone out of nowhere who just crushes their interview 2. Someone from a good defense promoted WAY earlier than they should be and you just hope for the best 3. Extend Evero. I know a lot of people hate this but I think it's going to be the best option. This is the problem with Canales as coach. I don't want to go into what I think about the offense in this post, today or as it projects, but it's just not going to be easy for him to assemble a staff, if he even has the power to do so. For all we know Morgan is handling all defensive positions and hires. unclear org charts are a hallmark sign of a poorly run organization. I dunno. i think it's lowkey the biggest problem on the team, even moreso than the QB position.
