moore vs clausen, is there really a differnce?

I think it represents the Clausen vs Moore Debate on here quite well.

You have the two going at it fighting for a job.

You have Moore in front of Clausen destroying him.

You have Clausen wearing a Jason Voorhies mask to represent lots of hype, But under that mask

......you get the point. (Plus it's Halloween so i thought it would be fitting)

You have Moore ripping the mask off of him.....revealing who the winner of the two is.

lol. I'm tired and can't sleep and it's 3:30 in the AM. And i'm sure you make 50 things out of this picture. Just wanted to add to the controversy.

We are. I even politely gave him step-by-step instructions to help him put me on his ignore list. I hope he can follow them all the way through.

my response (back in august) to one of the other 10 billion moore vs. clausen threads over the past 2-3 months...

clausen looks the part, but it's aggravating to see him check down all the time. for christ's sake take some chances and throw the ball downfield.

moore reminds me of delhomme. yes, i said it. a gunslinger who takes chances...and i expect the end result to be no different from delhomme's. sooner or later, it will catch up with him.

Afraid you are mistaken. The Panthers climbed out of a 1-7 hole that year to be active in the playoff hunt and they weren't eliminated until week 16. 2004 was a fun ride, would be nice to have that kind of run again...but this team isn't as experienced and talented as the 2004 team was. No way we get any kind of production similar to what Jake and Moose had that year from Moore/Clausen and Gettis or Smith.

Hey Guys

Moore has played under pressure before.

Even though it was in College, pressure is pressure.

Beating #3 USC, Winning close game in the Sun Bowl.

I think a lot of the reason he sucked the first two games was because of lack of communication with any WR not named Smith.

Please give the man a little credit, is he the franchise player we want, maybe not. But he is the best option we have today. Clausen is not ready, watch the games, pay attention. Yes it was only the 49ers, still a win and one we needed badly. Personally, I'm a MM fan. Has he made mistakes, sure he has. So has Peyton Manning and Brett Favre and no one is claiming there less of a QB than last week or last year. MM still hasn"t gotten 16 games under his belt yet, we owe him the chance to grow into the position. If we don't keep him it will come back to haunt us. Make no mistake someone will grab him at the first chance.

too bad we didn't give him that chance. When the season is over we will likely look back at those 3 Clausen starts and wonder what if.....what if Fox gave Moore a legit shot and hadn't benched him.

All I'm saying is to quit bellyaching about Clausen vs Moore, Moore is the guy. Support him and who knows what may happen. Clausen may very well be a great QB, today he is not what we need.
