Of Bud, or other beer of choice? Ya gotta get in the right mindset to watch the product on the field this year. I would suggest popping down a couple of cold ones (OK, more than a couple), sitting back in your favorite armchair, putting your most analytical and objective cap on, and hope for the best.

Remember that this is the Sabbath (unless you worship on the real Sabbath, Saturday, like I do). Regardless, watch your mouths if you have small kids, otherwise your wife may penalize you for un-fatherly-like conduct. You don't want to be a bad role model for the shorties, and interrupt the flow of the game.

Don't forget to remove all objects that can bust a plasma or LCD screen, just in case. To that end, remember that Styrofoam is a Panthers fan's best friend this season (even if it tests your notions of manliness or what appreciating a 6 pack is all about)?

It is what it is. Hunker down, and enjoy the game.

I'll be drinking a home brew when kick off comes around but for now it is still coffee time.

Yep, I'm about to have some French Roast -- buy 2 get 3 free at Harris-Teeter, son!

As for beer, I just found Sierra Nevada Celebration. I'll probably have a couple of those while watching the game, but I have many stouts just begging to be drunk.

Home alone (not good).

Watching it on a 16-year old 50 inch; this thing could take a hit from a transfer truck and still work.

I'm going to curl up and cry.

Sabbath doesn't matter to me but I'm heading over to the 'rents house to watch the game on their nice TV, so watching my mouth will be important. Also I've never been one for throwing things at my TV. I'm more of a rip my hat off and stomp on it kind of guy.
