Trick or Treat

There's nothing saying that you cant trick or treat for a while and come back early. I'm not sure how having it on Saturday is any better than having it on Sunday anyway.

My kid is 9 and we don't stay out past 7:30-8. She has braces and cant eat half the candy anyway. We get back home, take a bath brush teeth and still is in bed on time.

Honestly, it's somewhat my excuse for not letting her have it. Yeah I know, I'm a horrible parent but I'm proud of it. She has a tendency to not brush well and we are paying out the ass for these braces. I do let her have some things sometimes but not all the time.

What I heard from my wife here in redneck Georgia was that since it is a Satanic holiday it should not be on a Sunday!!

Maybe we should make sure Christmas doesn't fall on a Sunday, since it has Pagan origins.

same for me. it was hard sometimes, but worth it. brushing is key though. still only 1 cavity for me my whole life.
