There have been many times when owning the PSLs have been a tremendous experience, when the team is competitive. This, of course, isn't one of those years and the downward slide was very predictable from 2-3 years ago.

As for me, and the people who sit around share the same view, JR had best bring somebody in who inspires some excitement and hope and if he doesn't, he will have a lot of PSLs go sell. Sadly I will turn mine back in. It is a lot of money and time to see a pro team that offensively has zero chance and zero hope.

For the first time, I've seen these same loyal PSL holders, who have never missed a game, leaving at halftime.

In some ways, it may not be a bad thing if there is a strike next year as I think the players, coaches, and ownership have forgotten that without people buying tickets, watching TV, buying jerseys and giving a damn, there is no NFL.

Instead of just letting them go back so that JR can make even more money, why not let a die-hard fan buy them for cheap? That solves two problems - getting some die-hard fans in the stadium who normally couldn't buy PSLs and keeps JR from lining his pockets rewarding him for going cheap.

That sounds all good and well, but I've offered my pair up for sale on this board and another where the forum folks all claim to be die-hard fans, but I've ended up nearly giving them away.

Since the Super Bowl run the Panthers have had exactly one home playoff game, the beat down by the Cardinals in '08. So I'm not sure that's the best arguement.

There will be playoff and games during the season that mean something again. And having my PSL's which gave me guarnteed, no hassle, access to good seats during the '03 Run, the one playoff game since against the Cardinals, the during the season big games that did occur and all of that which will happen again makes it still worth the investments of the PSL's to me.

Nearly giving them away is better than letting JR get to resell them for even more money.

And I'd now do it on a board, put them on ebay or craigslist or that PSL sales site.

Hi there, honestly, can't get anyone to buy them even at half price for my club seats.

Most times, and this has been the first year, where I have extensive business travel and can't go to every game, I give them away to people I know support the Panthers; but, after this year, I'm not a charity, I bought them because I enjoy the game at it's highest level, and I enjoy watching the home state team.

I feel the owner very much let me down this year, and he can keep his "PSL Owners" on the ring around the stadium, it means nothing.
