Penthouse would take girls with smoking hot bodies that needed a lot of makeup (and aforementioned vaseline on the lens) to look good. Penthouse was more into the sex part and less into the pinup part.

Playboy tried to tell us that naked girls were beautiful. Penthouse tried to tell us that we already knew that, so lets get em dirty.

I always liked Playboy over Penthouse. Women weren't as sleazy. IMO

Besides, I got Playboy mags free. My Father bought it every month. He would leave the old ones out in the garage. As long as I didn't bring them in the house, my Parents didn't care. (At least they never said anything.)
