Our Defense is 5th against the pass and 12th overall in total Defense. Problem is we are 26th against the run, typical Meeks D.

It makes you wonder what our D could be if we still had an impact d-tackle like Jenkins on our squad.

Too bad those run defense numbers got so inflated based on two big runs by forte last week. I think we were middle of the road before that game. But then again holding the bears to 29 total passing yards inflated our passing numbers too so I guess the universe makes sense.

Misleading stats imo. I don't think we're that good against the pass or that bad against the run. Since our offense can't even get a first down opposing offenses can stay balanced the entire game, which usually means a lot of running. There is absolutely no pressure to score once they get a lead.

I hear ya Salty, but (just my opinion) stats mean nothing because we're 0-5. Now, if we were 4-1 and our defense wasn't statistically superb then that would be worth entertaining. But wins is what gets you in the playoffs, and we're not going. And that sucks. So nothing will make me happy except an 11-game winning streak starting this weekend.
