Best Horror movies that are under the radar?

"The Skeleton Key" with Kate Hudson is another underrated, spooky one. "28 Days Later" is pretty good too (as is "28 Weeks Later").

If you count half a movie, the first 45 minutes of "Jeepers Creepers" were scary as all get out (my ex-wife was so scared she wanted to leave the theater) but then they completely screwed it up. Could have been a classic but they went the wrong direction :nonod:

And I'll add one I watched for the first time tonight, "Dead Silence". Trust me, if you're at all creeped out by ventriloquist dummies, avoid this one.

"Evil Dead: The Musical" came to Charlotte last year, and I was fortunate enough to see it. That was one of the funniest things I'd ever seen. The Charlotte Actor's Theatre did an amazing job; I just wish I could find a recorded version of that performance.

Also, I will add Joyride even though I hate Leelee Sobieski.

Jeepers Creepers started great but fell apart - obviously ran out of money.
