Diaw running the Point?

I brought up this idea earlier this summer when we let felton walk and signed Thomas long term. Why not put Diaw at the point? He is one of the better ball handlers on the team, he would fit Larry's big point guard scheme and it could give us the opprotunity to run thomas at power forward from the start. I thought it was a fantasy scenario but today he ran the point some vs New Orleans...1 assist 1 turnover 1 rebound and 9 points. Interesting...

Maybe use him as a back-up to DJ. So far this year DJ has been really good at the point. We will have to see though when the season starts.

Diaw will not start at PG with the way DJ has been playing in the preseason.

But I can see Diaw playing some backup point until Livingston gets healthy...If he gets healthy.

Diaw played roughly 40 min and half were spent at pg. He finished with 15 points, 7 assists and 2 turnovers per the Charlotte Observer (http://www.charlotteobserver.com/2010/10/20/1775497/charlotte-bobcats-beat-hornets.html). Not saying he'll start at point, but it might be a very viable backup option.
