Smitty returns to practice

Hahaha, so you're saying if it's coming straight from the source itself, it has to be true. Well in that case what's the point of using our brains? Lets just believe everything we're told. There's no need for speculation, b/c we live in a perfect world where everyone is honest, trustworthy, and genuine.

Lets just put it this way, with that logic, I'd still be believing in Santa till this day. I used to believe every thing I was told. My parents told me he was real. Santa Clause himself told me he was real (you know those ones at the mall) Also, whatever I wrote down on my Christmas list, Santa came through every time.

So one Christmas I decided to think a little (what's that?). If Santa has flying reindeers, lives in the North Pole, and knows every time I'm being naughty or nice, then he should know what I want for Christmas without me having to write it down, right? So I didn't make a Christmas list that year. In my head, I wished for a LEGO play set, and lo and behold I got one of those Vortex nerf guns.

I was 8, and that was the first year I didn't get what I wished for. Was it b/c I didn't make a Christmas list for my parents to see? Maybe. But I speculated, used my brain a little, and confronted my parents about it. They said he wasn't true. I started crying, and the rest is history.

You still haven't provided any reasons as to why you think I'm wrong besides the fact that you think Steve is a "team" guy which can be debated but using your logic, how does being hurt and only getting 33 yards help the team? Knowing Moore gets him into the endzone and puts up points helps the team as well.

If you don't think there is some correlation than you are ignoring it because you don't want to realize it.

I've shown you two concrete pieces of evidence that would lead someone to believe he would try and come back sooner if Moore was the QB. You have shown none that support that he wouldn't.

You are the one that is claiming to have "evidence".

Your "evidence" is this:

1. Take two unrelated events that happen on sequential days.

2. Make a claim that they are correlated in some sinister way.

3. Pass off conspiracy theory as fact.

You sound like one of the 9/11 or alien consipiracy theorists.

Seriously 12 pages and this one isn't going to get resolved unless Smith comments on it himself and he wouldn't say anything but deny it anyway. Even if it were true he would never admit that quarterback choices influenced his decision to play this week. First of all it serves no purpose but to hurt team chemistry and it would cast Smith in a negative light. He doesn't know if Clausen will start again this year and no one knows what next year will bring. So debating this back and forth is a real waste of time. I know there aren't many other good threads to post about but seriously, this is beating a dead horse for pages.

You have yet to acknowledge that Jimmy and Smitty have clearly had an altercation on the sideline no matter how they want to portray it. You are clearly ignoring the fact that during the Saints game Smith was visibly upset with the way the offense was playing.

What do you say to fact that he returned to practice only 2 weeks after his injury that usually takes 4-6?

You are one of those people that probably thinks Vick didn't have anything to do with the guy getting shot at his birthday huh? Guy rats out Vick. Vick goes to jail. Vick gets out of jail throws birthday party. Guy shows up ininvited. Vick and guy have confrontation. Guy leaves. Vick gets in car and heads in direction guy left. Guy gets shot.

"But Vick didn't tell us that he or his boys shot the guy so it didn't happen, just like OJ said he didn't kill his ex-wife only how he would've killed her!"

lol, holy poo. are you really comparing a guy with a criminal record to Steve Smith? you're actually saying that those two situations are at all alike? what the hell.

nobody is saying to 'believe everything you get told.' All I'm saying is that until Steve Smith gives me a reason to believe he's a liar, I'm not gonna.

ps: if Smith is the kind of player to fake an injury to avoid playing with someone, or to deliberately sit out of a game he was healthy enough to play in, I don't want him on the team. If he's putting himself at risk of further injury by playing on an unhealed ankle, that's just dumb. Either way, Steve Smith Said there was nothing between him and Clausen, so I believe it. This isn't about trusting the government, believing a convict, or anything, it's about thinking that Smith is the kinda guy that if he really has an issue with someone he would have phrased it differently than "you guys are $#$#ing crazy, I have no problem with him."

to whomever started the "hes faking it" rumor

are you the guy that called into FNZ right after he was injured and tried to tell them that?

I feel sorry for you because they laughed at you so much, but you seriously have to be smoking some crack to think that Smitty, one of the most dedicated players on our team, is "faking" an injury.

He has more balls than that.

Where is the reading comprehension on this board? Please go back and read every post and see if anyone says that he is faking...Go ahead, I'll wait. Okay. Go back and read the thread again and tell me if anyone said that he would sit out if healthy. Go ahead. We have time. It's like you are arguing a point that isn't trying to be made. We said that if he's still hurt/questionable (which means he's not healthy, which means he wouldn't be sitting out on purpose) would he rush back to play with Moore? Answer looks like yes because of the stated reasons.

Also, no one is comparing him to Vick but using your logic you would be the worst detective ever. You are like one of the characters in "The Invention of Lying" move that came out a while ago. You live in a happy little world where all things told are true and nothing is true unless it has been spoken!
