Smitty returns to practice

you know the only people that really care about post count are the ones complaining about them. pretty funny the pointless post count envy.

If that was true, I would give you more respect. Considering most of my posts around here SPARK conversation ABOUT football while yours are mainly little smirk remarks and one-liners that most of the time aren't even that funny along with the fact that most of the topics that I start around here outlast yours by weeks, I say I have nothing to be jealous about.

Which was my point. You would figure that someone who has been around for so long to have that many posts, would be a little bit more mature and impartial to things.

When was the last time you actually made a postive and substantial contribution to the forum?

Don't get me started man. I could care less about post count, but I've been a member on this board for about 7 years now and I notice a lot of things.

Do you know how many people left this board completely after their first official post? You guys love to trash newbies to make sure they never post on this board again. Granted some of their posts may have been somewhat ignorant, shouldn't you be embracing new members that come here instead of trashing them?

Someone called TheRealDeal a troll after he made those comments about Smith's injuy. Really? The guy is a troll just b/c he has an opinion that isn't in accordance with the majority? It's little stuff like that that makes me laugh, especially when they're proven wrong.

It's so true. No really. It is.

When I first came back this year after a long time off, I made a harmless reply that had a valid point but it was against the majority opinion, and even one of the most highly respected veterans posted a smart-ass, dismissive condescending reply. I called him out later on it and after another smart-ass reply I told him straight out I would disrespect him back, even though my initial intention was to offer him respect. So when the vets set that example what can you expect out of the other ones.

"Reported on ESPN, Smitty is not playing next Sunday"

That was on Monday

So lets see, they reported Smitty out on Monday. Foxy makes the announcement later on that day that Moore will start. Then on Wed, Smitty returns to practice. OMG, I think Smitty's ankle magically healed.

"I agree with the Real Deal here. The Panthers organization seems to hide the fact that players are either unhappy or struggling. Now I'm not saying Smitty faked the injury, but the severity of the injury can definitely be exaggerated. It's probably a common tactic used by NFL teams to hide the fact that there are personal issues within the team, like Smitty's frustrations with Clausen. Now that Moore is starting, we might see Smitty more eager to get back on the playing field."

Don't be mad that you got this one wrong man. It happens to the best of us. Oh I forgot, you have a ton of posts and rep power so that automatically makes you right, huh? People are so full of themselves it's unbelievable.

Read my lips....there is no fuging way that Smitty is coming back this week because Clausen is being benched.

And, ESPN probably reported that because (1) Smitty did not practice last week (2) Fox would not come out and say that he was playing (imagine that).

The conspiracy theories on this are about as bad as the 9/11 discussion in the Tinderbox.

Was it you that created that thread yesterday saying you believed Smitty was going to be "extra" motivated to come back?

:D

Props for taking all that flack. Looks like you could have been on to something.

Aww, isn't that cute. Where are you two going on your honeymoon? College of the Canyons? Oregon State? December 2007?

Some of the posters popping up on here as of late make my head hurt. But just like when the panthers struggle, I still love them, when the huddle is full of RealDeals and PFFL I will fight thru the adversity and still love my huddle!

I'm sorry sir I would like to know what you mean by full of RealDeals? I don't know how to ask this without it coming off sounding mean but I have only provided my opinion supported by evidence that has turned out to be true, twice.

What makes you not like that? I'm just asking and maybe I will work on my forum etiquette.

I would be inclined to believe you if you had any evidence to support your claim. I provided evidence with mine. You have yet to dispute that evidence and provide any of your own.

That's how discussions work. Not with cool pictures and telling people to read your lips when they can't actually see them.

So where is this "evidence"? All I'd seen was speculation on your part. "Smith likes Moore, therefore he is faking an injury to stay out of the lineup with Clausen playing" is not evidence, it's conjecture that is unsupported by anything. Maybe you aren't the one parroting that crap, but others are.

PS: What's your "third prediction"?

Thank you....someone sees the "evidence" claim as ridiculous.

His evidence is:

Smitty does not practice last week....everyone knew he would not based on the injury.

Moore named starter on Tuesday.

Smitty comes back to practice to prepare for this week's game.

The evidence is nothing more than speculating that the timing of such events are related.

I can play your logic game.

I got up this morning. It started raining at 9AM today. Therefore, I made it rain today.
