Need some Help. (computer related)

On a Mac.

So for halloween I'm making a bunch of temporary tattoos on some special paper that I can print on with a laser printer.

I have all the images I need but whenever I go to paste them into a word document, I just get the link where the image is saved/hosted to rather than the image itself. When I had a PC, it used to be as easy as "copy" then "paste" and the image would appear in word and was able to be printed.

I tried saving all of the images to photobucket and my computer itself, but I still can't paste them into Microsoft Word.

Anyone know how I can get my saved images onto word so they can be printed on this special paper from there?
