okay since Jerry is a cheap ass when it comes to FA. How about we all make donations, and get fans at the games to make donations towards a down payment on what i would like to call the FA fan pick. everyone who donates gets to vote for the free agent they want the most. There for Jerry doesn't have to spends as much of his money. Would this be enough for the cheap bastard to make a move?

I know it would never happen but what do you think the front office reaction would be if we as fans actually accomplished this (on some level) and presented it to them?
