As of today, who would you draft at number 8?

he’s talented. Probably out half of his rookie season with a torn labrum.

For those that don’t know…

Jihaad Campbell, a top linebacker prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft, underwent shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum after the NFL Scouting Combine, and is currently rehabbing.

  • Previous Injury: He previously left the ReliaQuest Bowl with an upper-body injury, though it's unclear if that was related to the labrum tear.
Recovery: Labrum surgeries typically entail recovery periods of around 6-to-8 months, which could impact his availability for the start of the season.

I'm becoming more and more convinced we miss on both walker and graham that the draft goes like this

1- titans Cam

2- browns carter

3- giants Hunter

4- Pats Membou

5- Jax Graham

6- LVR Walker

7- NYJ Campbell

Even if Jax goes Walker, I think NYJ take Graham. Unless someone trades up in the top 7 for Shedeur I don't see us getting either one of those guys

Tyler Warren it is then.

If both are gone, we're probably going Mykel.  Warren fans will not be happy, but it's a strong possibility.

No chance for Wilson or Barron in that situation?

I like Barron a lot but I don’t see it happening with our FO’s preferences.  Although his ability to flex between outside CB, slot and FS make him like a jacked up Sainristil with a bit of the Witherspoon gene. He could be exactly what we need but no one’s really talking about him for us.

Think your autocorrect may have changed out Will Johnson — who I also like but his man coverage skills worry me a tad this high in the draft. And injuries.

I would hate Campbell as a top 10 pick in terms of positional value but generally do think he is probably one of the safest picks in the entire draft. In a draft that is pretty sketchy for elite talent, I would eventually be okay with this kind of guy even at 8.

Barron is a good prospect but can you justify it if he ends up basically being a nickel?

That seems like a luxury pick for us. Don't hate the player, hate the positional value at 8.

Now a trade down option? I am all in.
