What I hears is that they want a guy that has toughness, is  hardworking and likely has good character. At what position depends on who is BPA with those traits

I didn't hear Warren. I heard the opposite of what I want, which is typical. 

When we took Bryce, I wanted to trade down and nab Kincaid, Torrance, Charbonnet, and Mims. All of whom have been contributing players to teams that took them. 

Oh well. I want Warren, we won't take him, he will become an All-Pro. Such is the cycle.

Maybe, but he wouldn't here.  Canales system doesn't feature the TE.  Sanders is just fine as TE1 on this team.

From what I am hearing on the board, if we stay at 8 (assuming nobody drops to us):

roughly 40% want Walker

roughly 20% want Warren

roughly 20% want TMac

roughly 20% want other

Does that sound fair?

I really want us to be able to trade down. But as far as "want" I have none other than a defensive player on day 1. Who doesn't really matter to me save for a couple of exceptions. My thinking is the team will take Walker if he's available. If he's not then I haven't a clue.

According to the poll I posted in Febuary, it was about 36% Walker, 20% trade back, 11% Tmac, 8% Warren.  Wonder what it would be now, maybe Walker and trade back switched?

I think now trade back would be higher

He has been predicted to be selected by us at 8 for a while now. It's either Walker or Williams that you see as our pick. I'm not sure if it's a real possibility or just that it's just easy to say the Panthers will go defense and this is who I have as bpa at that pick.
