Next Panthers head coach/GM

Give me Gruden.

:iagree:A perfect fit, knows our division and could match wits with Payton. The ONLY option if we were to retain Meeks and Brian Baker who have done an excellent job with our D so far.

I'm in the Gruden, Cowher camp on this one. Either one would be a excellent fit in Carolina.

Parcells is not going leaving football yet, but he has left Miami ( don't the fins have to pay him a year or two more regardless?) The Panthers could be the next project that interests him. Talent here.....long under-coached. (Easy turn around) He might not want to be HC (unless he misses it that much). He seems like someone JR would trust with his team. Would not surprise me at all if Parcells joins the Panthers-in what ever role he wants.

Can't see Parcells here.

Doubt he'd accept anything less than team president or GM or some other "power broker" type title. Those spots are already taken and not likely to be recast.

And honestly, the idea doesn't excite me. If we were still talking about the Parcells of the Giants and Patriots maybe, but the Parcells of the Jets, Cowboys and Dolphins hasn't even produced a playoff win, much less a Super Bowl.

Can't say the idea of Carolina being his next three-year stop is all that intriguing to me.

Lighten up, this thread is a joke and no threat to your HC threads.
