we don't know that....if Moore finishes the season strong. Why wouldn't he have a good shot to be here?

only thing that will show is Fox reallly screwed up benching the kid during week 2...coming off a concussion and a game we still had a shot in.

I doubt he comes back next year.

He would have to prove he can play when it counts.Plus he only has a one year deal.I think a new coach will want to bring in his own guy.

I don't expect young QBs not to look like young QBs.

Moore was 6-2 heading into this year. Therefore, I can not like but accept a bad outing week 1. It happens.

I wanted more to get a legit shot this year. Fox already fuged that up. Moore needs at least 5-6 games this year to prove what he is.....not 1.75 w/ a head injury.

he can only play when put in games. Overall he has been solid.......

a poor showing week 1 on the road isn't the end all be all some are claiming it was.

you act like it was just game 2

the team did not score a touchdown the entire preseason.

i am inclined to believe that moore will play better now that the season is in the toilet.

i'm fine with the change because no two ways about it clausen didn't play well enough.

but moore will have a very tough time convincing any team at this point that he belongs as a starter in the NFL unless he takes this team to the playoffs.

Change, is not what carolina needs right now. That is part of the problem, not the solution. There is this thing call chemistry and you only obtain it when you let the SAME players play together for awhile. Constantly changing these players around is why the offense is so out of sync. How can a receiver/qb get their timings down when personnel is different every game?

Wing, it's pretty much irrelevant, now. The season has already been blown up, and it's really looking as though the remainder of the once solid team will be blown up as well.

I do believe that John Fox is on his way out, and though i didn't really believe that it was possible at the beginning of the season, I am starting to believe that neither Moore OR Clausen will be the future of the franchise (not that I thought Moore ever would be). Unless the new coach is Charlie Weis (which would make for many sleepless nights), then I can realistically see the new coach bringing in his own vision of what a QB is supposed to be.

Man! This is just a bunch of Carolina Confusion, but we just have to get through it. It's our time to rebuild.

BTW, I wouldn't be surprised if the Big Cat had something to do with this.

Moore only got two starts.....he got a WR into the endzone in both his games.....and didn't even finish both games. There is good to his game. He needs to elimiante the bad....which is what YOUNG QBs always are dealing w/.

If Moore finsihes strong he will be viewed as a guy who wins game.....a QB Fox oddly dumped on to start the 2010 season b/c of 1 game. A guy that will realistically have just as good of a shot as Clausen w/ a new HC.

Pure grasping at straws. I think it's dumb. We may be the worst team in the NFL right now. I think you have to stick with Clausen to see if you need to think about using the coming top 5 draft pick on a QB.

Moore isn't the answer. We need to find out whether or not Clausen is.

So, starting the year Moore was a POSSIBLE answer. He then plays one bad game was horrible.....and thus isn't the answer.

again, that would be like claiming Kolb has no future based of his first two games of action this year. Dumb.
