Did you hear the play call on the TD pass to J. Stewart? Remember when he stumbled near the 10? The announcer said, "It's a good thing he didn't fall down or the Panthers would have had to settle for a field goal."

That about sums this offense up. You could line them up on the 10 with 1st down and my guess is that 70% of the time they'd have to settle for a field goal.

Wow... So it's safe to say our defense should have a good day against your offense...

Seriously you sound like most of us 49er fans! Before we fired J. Raye we were singing the SAME note. We were so bland and vanilla it was insane. I would sit at home and know what was coming, of course opposing defenses made the most of it. J. Raye was such a bad cordinator there was a rat at 49ers HQ to expose him. Thank God somebody rated him out even though it made Singletary mad... best thing that happened for us this year!

Vanilla would be like red-hot Indonesian curry compared to the offense we're running here in Charlotte. What separates the Panthers from the rest of the bad teams is our offense's absolute inability to move the ball. I see Buffalo, Detroit, St. Louis, Oakland, SFO and others put points on the board and lose. We don't even put the points up. To beat the 9ers Carolina's defense will have to come up with a couple pick-6's.

My guess is that this game will be blacked out. First time in a very long time. We have PSL's and that forces the fans who own them to buy the tickets but the stadium is pretty well cleared out by the 3rd quarter.

Yes, usually opposing team's fans, or 3rd party team's fans, or a random paper-bag over the head Panther fan. But they DO show up...

We lived there from 1985 to 1988. We loved it. My wife met Hacksaw Reynolds and got her picture taken with him.

I've never been there, always wanted to go but haven't yet anyway... My wife has always wanted to go see the Golden Gate Bridge and obviously I want to go to Candlestick before they tear it down!

:lol: I remember, I think it is even worse when the announcers predict our offensive playcalls correctly.

I'll try to be positive :smilewinkgrin:

I do think our defense is good enough to keep us in a game. I'm not really a fan of Godfrey, but he's a damn good playmaker.
