If Vernon does have to miss playing time, we actually have two other good TE in Dalanie Walker and Nate Bynham... Obviously Vernon Davis is on a whole nother level but walker could be a starting TE on 15 NFL teams.

I agree to a point. Alex Smith has been nothing but inconsistant since joing the 49ers back in 05'. To be fair though, Smith does have the best supporting cast of his career. I expect Smith to struggle against a stingy Panthers defense.

So if Moore is such a difference maker why in the world did the Panthers bench him in the first place? Maybe something to do with his 48 passer rating? No way you shut out the 9ers! You have a good defense and all but our offense will score some points.

I like Beason a lot, I believe as do most fans in the NFL, that Patrick Willis is the best ILB in the league.

No argument there, but that wasn't the point. It's the things he says that makes a fan love him.

Well in my opinion it's his play on the field that makes the fans love him. If he sucked and said all the right things off the field I'm sure most people wouldn't be a fan of that.

In addition, every team we face has an advantage. They have to stop what they know is coming.

That's why we fired our offensive coordinator, we were so predictable defenses would completely shut us down. Why haven't the Panthers made coaching changes if the playcalling is that bad? It was the best thing the 49ers have done this season. On the flip side it l's unfortunate Alex Smith has to have yet another OC but it needed to be done.

Who's the best DB on the Panthers roster? Also how has your punt and kickoff coverage been for you guy's this season? Ted Ginn has come close a few times to taking one to the house.
