CFL stud, Cameron Wake

Does anyone know if the Panthers' front office/coach made any effort to reach out to Cameron Wake? He went to Penn State, Ran a 4.55 in the 40 yard dash, did not get drafted, went to the CFL, had 39 sacks in the last 2 years, stands 6' 3" and 260 pounds. Any way, he ended up with Miami. Sounds like we could have used him next year.

I think he'll have around 9 sacks next year if he gets the starting nod. A solid year for his first in the nfl.

they did, they gave him a 4 year deal worth around 4.9 million with incentives and around 1 million in signing bonuses.
