I'm not saying Stewart is a bad player. I'm just saying I would rather have D-Will, we could get more for Stewart on a trade, and there wouldn't be that much of a drop off. We need much more help on the team than a 1000 yard rusher coming off the bench.

Constantly injured yes. 2 broken arms and high ankle sprain in less than a year.

And a broken ankle a few years ago. He's missed a lot of playing time with injuries.

No, its recently injured. Constant is every year, always. And he's really not old, he's younger than both Randy Moss and Ocho. People just point to his age as a reason for his declining numbers when its really just shitty QB play.

thats a lot of money in two or three years to have tied up in a group of RB...I get not trading Smith but long term if the deal is not good I would trade Williams.

No team is going to give higher than a low 2nd...and they would have to be pretty desperate to offer that. It isn't difficult to get good running backs.

Realistically, I doubt any team would offer higher than a 3rd round pick, and no player of value in trade.

That puts to bed a trade worth a damn even existing for d williams.

He still has value to teams wanting a dynamic player such as he is.

That being said, he ain't going anywhere.

Smitty is not getting old, you guys are funny. 31 is old? damn, he's one of the best in the NFL hands down. Not his fault his numbers have gone down because of god awful QB play.

He's good 4-5 solid years ahead. As long as we can find some decent WRs to put around him and a half way decent passing game.
