Was too young to get married.

Felt trapped in the marriage.

Got married to get away from bad home life.

Husband was too immature.

Friends were all getting married. (Presumably college graduating women.)

Felt trapped into marriage. (Different from the women's response.)

Because it was available/Because they could. (This was a common respnse across all men age groups!)

Felt that they could cheat and not get caught.

Too young to marry.

two way street man. we never actually cheated on one another. i guess technically i did. anyway. like i said, we were casual in college. flings with one another is what it really was. then after we both graduated we saw each other out again, and started seeing each other seriously.

If you're sorry about it and won't do it again, I think it's better to keep it to yourself. What they don't know won't hurt them. Being honest just because you want to feel better is selfish IMO cause you're about to wreck their whole life.
