Anyone else do this?

I have been doing it for only a year or so but love it.

It is essentially treasure hunting using GPS (though they have plenty of apps for smart phones).

i've always thought about doing this too, but never have

It is a ton of fun - I recommend anyone that likes the outdoors to give it a chance - it costs nothing too.

Though the prizes are rarely lucrative, I heard a story that someone out west has hidden one so tough, that he has vowed to give the deed to his house for the first to find it.

They can be anything from a long/lat location for you to go find or as in-depth as a 15 step hunt where you have to solve puzzles to get the next location.

my wife and i used to do this. Good for getting out of the house, driving around. This would be the best time of year. It would be fun to do with your kids.

I actually bought a newer/better gps that ended up sucking. i havent been back out to do this since. Probably wont for a few years now that we have a baby.
