Awesome. You are blessed because in the end everything will work out.

My mom was in Germany visiting my father when she gave birth to me. I was born premature and had all kinds of problems just like that. She barely survived and they said that if if we were not in Frankfurt hospital at the time we wouldn't be here today. Lincolnton or Charlotte just didn't have capabilities for this back then.

First year is the hardest. After that we all catch up with other other kids and everything goes back to normal.
