Anyone else hate Nascar?

baseball.

There are some fat athletes in the playoffs

now that I think about it even more, what about football lineman. Haynesworth and Otah are just two of what are considered athletes. you'll never get them in a NASCAR though. they won't fit. they probably don't have the endurance to get through qualifying either.

can't imagine many real estate agents being like, "hey, this is a GORGEOUS house, but you're going to be f**king miserable during race weekends." plus, we wouldn't have had the first f**king clue what 'race weekends' meant when we moved down... we're too smart and too rich :ciappa:

what about concert weekends? traffic was terrible during those when I was there, but people didn't complain for the most part because if you didn't have a ticket you could still listen to the show.

Obviously not that smart if you don't know what is meant by Speedway. ;)

and they say NASCAR fans are dumb

I was just trying to say I hate it cuz it fuks up my commute. It usually takes me 30 mins to get home on Fridays, today it took 1 1/2 hrs. F Nascar :D

So there's only on route to your house? ?

I live close to the speedway as well but as long as you exit at mallard creek and go north its not bad at all.

More than one way, but they all either involve trying to get past the speed way or going up 77 to hwy 73 and heading back towards Concord, either way it sucks

Oh so your on the east side of 85??

I live in highland creek and if you stayed west of 85 i woulda been able to give you a few tips.

Jimmie Johnson is flat out killing the sport. Get a personality.

Almost all the competitive cars belong to 2-3 owners. That is killing it even more than Jimmy Johnson. Imagine the NFL if Jerry Jones owned half the teams. Also, so many of the tracks are cookie cutter. Michigan, Kansas, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas are all identical. 20 years ago, each track had its own style and identity.

NASCAR would be better if they actually went somewhere. Like raced from New York to Charlotte, of from Birmingham to Texas, or something like that. Of course, building the track to run 500 actual miles would cost...billions maybe, I would be more likely to watch that, then the poo they do on Sunday.
