i agree that a good deal of people that ride them are jackasses but that isn't the jet ski's fault.

Didn't say it was anyones fault, but if they weren't around I wouldn't have to deal with them.

Same as it's not the crocs fault that people look like douche bags that wear them.

Maybe, but they still are awesome. I do agree a lot of drivers are a-holes, but so are boaters. Over the summer, I got pulled up by the 150 bridge for a "license check" by NC wildlife. I had been drinking, so luckily some douche bag in a dual inboard/outboard came blowing by us and almost hit the NC wildlife guy. SO he said "Have a nice day, I'm going to get this asshole". So Jet Skiers aren't alone in their assholism

I agree, however the % is way higher.

It's one thing on a lake, but when you are in a waterway like the Intracoastal, they are fuging annoying. Riding way too close to your stern, and cutting in front of boats and behind skiiers.

biggest reason I don't want to be in the intracoastal is its a highway without markings. too dangerous for a fun care free day.

I have been on it all of my life, and never had issues, but you have to know what you are doing, and respect everyone else out there. Many of the younger boaters/riders have no idea what they are doing.
