i myself am starting to ease off mcdermott because that eagles defense is continually sliding down the rankings every single week

Something to consider also with McDermott is the Eagles 3rd down & redzone defense, b/c that's where they have really fallen off. He's still near the top of my list, but yeah, its beginning to make my hopes for the guy a little shaky.

so the moral here is to pick a coach that can tailor a system to a QB that can utilize his pure athleticism!? ALRIGHT! Sounds good! ;P

when the eagles make the playoffs, his defense needs to step it up because the only reason they're 9-4 right now is because of the way Vick is running that offense

if it's january and their offense is still having to win by 3 points even though they're scoring in the high 20s, he might be off my wish list

I'm thinking of doing a new version, pared down to only the most serious candidates, which at this point I would consider to be the following.

- Harbaugh

- Grimm

- Rivera

- McDermott

- Fewell

I'm open to suggestions on whether that pool needs to be expanded (though I really don't think so) or shortened. And if so, who do I add or remove?

I would have to say Harbaugh an Mcdermott..I dont think Harbaugh wants to come to the league. An i dont think Mcdermott is ready to be a head coach.

I also think we should watch Jason garett an Leslie frazier also. Because I dont know if they are really a lock in for there Job especially Jason garett I understand that they have done well but i dont believe that they are a lock. Another thing Because i believe this will be jeff fisher last season will the Titans. An Jeff Fisher will probably be Jerry jones number 1 candiate. So that might free or Garett i dont know if he will be on Carolina list but he will more likely be on Denver also leslie Frazier we be a denver option also.

If they left their teams chances are, we would not want them. Im sold on Harbaugh, and not too sold on Grimm. However, I would approve of Grimm depending on who he brought in to be his Offensive Coordinator.

I've been telling everyone down here in Houston to not even think about Cowher coming to Houston because he is a lock in Carolina. I guess I am wrong and I must admit I haven't been listening to much panther gossip so can you guys tell me if Cowher might be the front runner for the panthers job?

Ok so I guess he is going to be in Houston or Dallas according to a Insider sports writer. Dallas is going to keep what they have now because that's who Jerry has wanted all along so If we fired Kubiak then Cowher might land here. I would rather have Gruden because he runs a 4-3 and Cowher would take us back to a 3-4 with no one good enough to be Casey Hampton.
