Harbaugh fans may want to familiarize yourself with this guy:

Who is Jack Bechta, you ask? He's a professional agent, one of the founders of the National Football Post and the owner of an agent group called JB Sports.

One of his clients, a fellow by the name of Jim Harbaugh.

In fact, Harbaugh wrote this testimonial on his business site:

The thing I love about Jack is his work ethic. While most agents are 'along for the ride,' Jack is always there when you need someone to roll up their sleeves and fight for you. We have all been told, 'No, you're not big enough, or strong enough, or you're too slow.' Jack Bechta will help you stand up and say, "Yes, I can!"

On his Twitter page, Bechta congratulated Harbaugh's Stanford Cardinal for "Winning with class and cruelty!"

Can't really base that off of one game....

I didnt base it off one game. I said i knew his offense was not that good from the start. when I said start i should of said start of the season. The offense really want as good that people made it seem. So I didnt base it off one game .I felt that Brian Schottenheimer was overated along time ago, way before this year.

An article by Bechta I'm sure a lot of guys will enjoy

Don't believe everything ESPN tells you

For those wondering, Russ Grimm is represented by Eric Metz of LMM Management. Metz also represents recent addition Brian St Pierre and was the agent for uberflop JaMarcus Russell.

adam schefter is the first person i thought of when he talked about "scoop jockeys". he goes through spurts where he's kind of a reliable source, but then there are others when he's in a contest with florio to see who can throw the most crap on the wall and see if it sticks. very interesting read, though.

Jason Sehorn came on the Frank and Buck show today to say that he can't see Harbaugh coming here because of a) the salary he'd command that he doesn't think JR will pay, and B) (the more interesting point) that Harbaugh will get to pick and choose where he goes and like his brother will likely pick a team that is one or two small pieces away from being a title contender (like Baltimore was). He thinks that Harbaugh just finished rebuilding a Stanford program, why would he want to do the same thing in the pros where owners are going to expect immediate results?

I can see the second one as far as he is concerned, but not many coaches are fired because of a missing piece or two.

Im starting to feel that he might not leave Stanford either. The A.D. says he is close to signing a new contract at the school. I believe if he goes any were it may be to Michigan. If not there may be a chance in the NFL. But im not trippin on it right now. But we will find out in January what will happen?

If Harbaugh stays at Stanford but Luck comes out like he probably should, it would be ironic if Stanford goes back to mediocrity again. Harbaugh is supposedly so great but lets be honest his overall record in 4 years is 28-21 and most of that can be attributed to being 11-1 this year. Even this year, they have beaten three teams with a winning record this year and no one ranked in the top 10. Even now they are matched up against Virginia Tech who are ranked 12th and 13th respectively.

All of this to say I don't know how he can essentially go anywhere he wants in the NFL and be a hot commodity that everyone wants. He really hasn't paid his dues or proven himself at this point. If he does come out and if Harbaugh really wants to go to a team a step or two away from contending, he will do it without Luck. Seems to me Harbaugh should sign an extension at Stanford and be thrilled he got paid for one decent season and 1 great one.

I really do not believe Harbaugh is as hot a commodity as fans want him to be.

He's likely going to have some offers, but I think that wit hall the other coaches out there, he isn't necessarily going to be running away with the #1 to the point where he'll literally decide wherever he wants to go...
