Potential Head Coaches

For some reason I know Frazier is the interm coach, but i dont think he will be coaching the vikings next year.I kind of fill that they might try to pursue an John Fox or Maybe an Marvin Lewis. I think Garett is an lock in dallas but im not so sure about Frazier with the vikings.

I can't believe I got negative rep for suggesting Weis as a possibility but the fact of the matter is that Weis seems just as logical as Grimm.

1) We run an almost identical offense (obviously KC is executing better plays)

2) Weis has his QB in Clausen set and ready

3) Weis also has a playmaker in Steve Smith (older Golden Tate)

4) Weis and Fox are close friends and despite what most assume on this board, I think JR has respect for Fox and what he has done and wants to duplicate his success by bringing in someone who is similar in styles.

Again, unless Frazier completely tanks, he'll keep the job.

And if he did completely tank and lost the job, why would we want him?

Do you Actually believe he will get a Shot in the League, after what happen at Notre Dame.Its kind of hard to believe that marty Hurney or Richardson will go after him. An you also have to say some guys dont need to be coach they are better coordinators then they are coach. If he gets an interview it would shock me. But you never know.

That may be true. Its alot that goes into college coaching especially you only have at least 20 hours a week to spend with you team. Its really not enough time. But the question is do you think Hurney will go after him, an to me thats kind of hard to believe. Charlie Weis was talk about a couple of times to be Offensive coordinator for the panthers going back to him an John fox have ties to been Friends an everything. But it never happen, if it would have it probably would have saved his job.An the panthers could look at who better to make Jimmy Clausen an Good NFL QB then Charlie Weis. But I seriously doubt that will happen. The College scene May very well hurt his NFL coaching chances.

benefit for the UofM players is that they only have to put up with gruden for a max of 4 years. if they get pissed at him they can just go into the draft or get their dads to find some school willing to pay them to transfer.

still...i'd hate to see him leave monday night football. i'll probably have to watch it with the mute button on again.
