Potential Head Coaches

Mr. Scot

You may be right Rayzor but you have to think in JR's shoes for a minute, who does he want as opposed to what the fans want?

Again, Grimm makes the most sense as to who JR would look for

i can't remember who wrote the article, but they were talking about how richardson needs a salesman for the team to come out and do some PR building and repair the image of the team. winning will do a lot, but right away, it has to be a dynamic personality. that wouldn't be grimm. i can't imagine he would be anymore personable or media friendly than fox.

This sounds great, but I am not so sure that I want any DC or OC from losing teams. I am ready for some guys that have won year in and year out calling plays for us.

The Giants current DC (Perry Fewell) was with the Bills the year before.

Zimmer's got a pretty good track record as a DC prior to the Bengals gig.

the up in your face type of attitude works in college sometimes it does not work in the NFL
if that was the only facet to him, there might be a problem. it isn't and it won't be. i can inderstand you looking for any angle to make him look not all that great, but like it or not, he's going to be one of the most sought after coaches in football and he will be successful with whoever he coaches. he'll build a team that will win a whole lot more than it loses.

there's no way i would compare him with singletary. he's at a much higher level. think a smart and offfensive minded rex ryan.

here's something else i thought of...if you are a FA player looking for a team, what is going to get your interest more? someone like jim harbaugh or someone like russ grimm. players will buy into the hype as much as anyone. one thing the panthers is hugely lacking in has been any amount of hype.

the same goes for assistant coaches. if we want to bring in the good ones, we have to have someone that people are drawn to and who can sell the program. that is going to be harbaugh much more than russ grimm.

I would think Russ Grimm a former Hog and HOF.
