Potential Head Coaches

Mr. Scot

And back to my top choice: Mike Heimerdinger

Look what he did with Vince Young in Tennessee who was on the verge of being a complete bust not too long ago. Along with making Kenny Britt and Nate Washington into solid WRs, he's used to accommodating a stellar run game. Ding's a little old, but I think is perfect for us.

2. Grimm could be great but something about him get's me nervous.

3. Keith Butler could be a good one but would have to find a damn good OC out there since he's a defensive coach.

Seems like he did zero research before writing this. He also continues with this media hinting that we wont go after a big name, his reasoning was because of the seifert debacle. But we tried to hire Spurrier who was very big name at the time before settling for Fox

Yasinskas seriously thinks they'd look at Mike McCoy as head coach? Wow :nonod:

Then again, maybe I shouldn't be surprised. Yasinskas was the one who said McCoy was a lock for the OC job (before they hired Jeff Davidson).

He got that info from a solid source, Mike McCoy's agent. Probably got this tidbit from the same source.

yeah, I think we get it with Yas. Push the guy, hope for scoops. McCoy would be more of an abortion than BJmonster is to this thread.

Olson isnt HC material right now. Doing a little good work with one player or one year doesn't make you the guy. Plenty of one year wonders who go to coach terrible franchises and never make it out alive.

argh. urge to snarky one liner increasing...

To me, McCoy may get an interview but I don't see him getting the job unless we really strike out with others. That may be a possibility though, with the number of jobs opening.

I'd be pretty damned unhappy if McCoy even got an interview.
