Potential Head Coaches

The People who Fit that Scheme Who We have In Mind Is Leslie Frazier and Mcdermott..And The Odds to get those guys arent as good At all..Like I said Before If leslie Frazier Gets the Job With The Vikings He will be off the list as well as Mcdermott due to the Fact he is not doing as good In Philly. But My scout game for him is Sunday I really want 2 see What He will do to the Colts the kind Of schemes and Blitz Packages He Will run. Also This Is Something 2 think about If And I really dont like Hypotheticals But Childress get fired. What Are the odds for Fox to take Over as the Vikings Coach. He fits there Profile and Scheme. But then there would be a scenario that The Only way Carolina will get Frazier is for that 2 happen.Because Frazier will have a Better shot to been in Carolina..Also More then likely if Frazier end Up in Carolina More then Likely Ron Rivera Might also..

The reports about Mcdermott being in trouble in Philly are overblown..imo

well the thing about Norv turner..Thats So good He can developed a QB.Im trying 2 Remeber does he run WC or an Regular Offense. And Yeah He is From NC. The Only thibg About it He hasnt Been 2 good at been an Head Coach. mainly because he gets 2 Pass Happy And He really focus On Offense More then his defense. And Most likely Im thinking Carolina wants to keep there MO and Stick with Defensive Coaches. The Only Way for him to be able to Be Our Coach Is If there is Nobody at all On the Market He will get an Interview and By Luck if Carolina is for real about the focus on Offense He might get the Job But other then that I doubt it...

Also You could be correct about the troubles in Philly Overblown..But after i really think about it Im not 2 sure if he is ready 2 be an Head Coach. Not after One Season.2 Morrow I will scout him against the Colts Offense and sees how he reacts 2 it...

I think the smartest thing we can do in regards to coaching is to find someone that can develop a QB at either OC or QB coach, not get someone that runs a particular offense. I would kill for Norv Turner. Any idea for who we could get at OC or QB coach that can develop QBs?

Turner as OC? Ja.

Turner as head coach? Nyet :nonod:

Page one of the thread includes a link to a post on potential assistants (among other things).

Well, when a grown man refuses to shake a 20 year olds hand (on camera) after a football game... I'd say they are definitely not best friends.

You could pretty easily get the impression that Harbaugh doesn't work and play well with others

But then neither does Bill Parcells really, so it's debatable what effect that has on his effectiveness as a coach.

John Fox seems to get along with everybody.

That doesn't mean they hate each other. Why would Harbaugh bother hating some player on another team? I think I'm missing something here, do they have history?

...okay, so: Harbaugh compliments Clausen, says good things about him but didn't shake his hand. Clausen says "Harbaugh clearly didn't want to talk to me." And this means that Harbaugh hates Clausen...? I really hope there is more to this story than that article. It sounds more like Clausen was a bit sore about a coach having better things to do than shake his hand following a fight than it does a coach holding something against a player.

Who's right/who's wrong on that one is a matter of perspective.

For my part, I think Harbaugh probably did disrespect Clausen. Bad move, but I wouldn't eliminate him from coaching contention for it.

(I'd just have a discussion on sportsmanship as part of the interview process)

Well I dont Know about Harbaugh even coming to arolina Due to the ways In the Organization Overall..If Clausen is going to be the future maybe we do need get a WC offensive Guy in there..But Let me make this Point. Its not really about Just mainly having an Offensive guy as our Head coach. If we was 2 get a Defensive Guy he will just have 2 get a coaching staff 2 make clausen into a good QB. So i guess what im saying you dont really have to base this as you just gotta have a Offensive guy. Because i know Carolina want base it like that. But i can tell you I dont see Harbaugh in Carolina.Norv Turner might have a Chance.Frazier Will have a Chance. it all depends on what they will do to help the team. The only thing I really dont like about Turner is that He focus on his Offense way more then Defense, and He gets 2 a Point it goes into a slump.I really want 2 take a Look at WC offense guys..

They probably don't care for each other much at this point, but their dealings with each other have been limited.

Doesn't necessarily mean they couldn't craft a working relationship.

true. clausen was probably reading too much into it and probably felt like harbaugh was pissed at clausen for not playing for him.

from that article that was referenced earlier...

Clausen claims that he tried to find Harbaugh after the game to shake his hand, but that the coach left him hanging (via ESPN.COM):

“He obviously didn’t want to talk to me,” Clausen said.

It’s kind of an odd accusation, considering Harbaugh was quite complimentary of Clausen in his postgame comments. Harbaugh said he was concerned with the postgame shoving match and didn’t see Clausen:

“My main objective was getting our players off the field,” Harbaugh said.

Harbaugh’s other objective was complaining about the latest in a string of bad calls by the fine officiating crews of the Pacific-10 Conference.

From Jake CurtisSAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE story:

(Harbaugh) was angry about a play on a Stanford punt in the second quarter with the Irish leading 14-7. The kick bounced off the hands of Irish returner Armando Allen and was recovered by Stanford at the Irish 37-yard line. However, officials called Stanford’s Nate Wilcox-Fogel for interfering with the catch, even though replays suggested otherwise.

“We got a couple of bad calls,” Harbaugh said after the game. “It’s hard to imagine people don’t know football any better than that. Maybe I’ll be swayed differently after I see the replay, but from what I saw on the field, I still can’t get over it. It was a really bad call.”

mountains out of molehills.
