Just a little I already know about Denninson- hes been on 2 SB coaching staffs. OC for Houston right now- last year Texans finished 30th in rushing, this year they are 9th. he had some success in denver, up and downs. hes 52, hes been around for a while, and has coached several positions.

Thats Rite now Im a little Bias just because im a defensive Guy..SOON to be a Head Coach one day..Right now what is going to have to happen is Jimmy clausen is the future and the panthers oranization is hopeing for him 2 be great... So What i have to say is More then likely we will have to go the Offensive way..Mike heimerdinger has to be first he is the Oldest and the More Expiernce and Remeber we are a rebuilding team so there is a chance we could go with Him.2 Is Russ Grimm He fits the panthers Profile so well What he is going to have to do is bring somebody in to Developed Clausen. He from the Steelers organization and Richardson always tried to model his franchise after him.HInt He Could Also maybe Land Butler as Defensive Coordinator.3 Has to be Brian Schottinhemier He is young that could Cost him just Because the josh Mcdaniels Situation in denver. He is young and he might not be ready to carry a load of a team.He has the Biggest chance at been great and the Biggest chance of been a Bust.My Mind tells me Heimerdinger my gut tells me Russ..You Pick??

[ANALYSIS: This is another one where I wonder if he’s really available. Truthfully, I also wonder if he’s really all that good. He might be a little overrated due to his last name and his association with swaggering coach Rex Ryan. Granted, he’s made strides, but looking at the way his offense has performed and the facts that the Jets live and die on defense, I get the feeling his offensive attack as a head coach might be a tad too old school for Panther fans who are tired of John Fox. Of course, that doesn’t matter much if he’s effective and wins games, but his record makes me question whether or not he actually would. Bottom line for me: I think if his last name wasn’t Schottenheimer, he might not even be in the discussion.

WATCH: Schottenheimer Press Conference (10/14)

I've beaten on the guy plenty. They've struggled, 31st and 27th the last two years passing with some good options. Sure, with a rook, but those are near the basement. Under Mangini he never bested the top half of the league even with Favre. Their offense got specifically better with Callahan in 08, and I stand behind him making a big difference. You can't have both guys, of course.

He learned some things from plenty of guys who have had success - his father, Cam Cameron, Callahan, Ryan.

Makes sense in the idea of being young, running the ball. He doesn't have Ryan's swagger and I don't know if what they do works without that. He also doesn't have the knowledge of the 46 to make that happen here. He doesn't have much experience without his father,

There's always the "what if Mangini gets fired" thing, and well, no, it's not a better proposition if you add Mangini or the 3-4.

I saw the list, and if Schwartz is fired, he'd be my next favorite behind Meeks to be our DC. Guy's a legit asset. And while Fisher's a 46 guy, Schwartz's approach to defense isn't overly complex for the heat it brings. He's a hell of a tactician and statistician who may not be working out at the head coach level but if he doesn't get another year, would be an excellent coordinator again.

Honestly, I'm not convinced we'd be rolling over teams with a different QB. You can't have much better QB play than we had with Moore last Sunday. Not taking anything away from him OR the win, but we still only beat the 49ers by 3. It's not like with stellar QB play we blew people away. This is a team built to run. Sure, if we had great QB play week in week out we'd do better, people might even respect the run, but the way the team was playing earlier in the season I'm not convinced QB is our only issue.

Put Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, even his brother Eli on our team, and we wouldn't be talking about the next coach. We would not have a losing record with or defense and special teams playing the way they are.

You are talking about 2 QBs that are in the greatest of all time discussion. Horrible example. All QBs don't work well in all systems. It doesn't work that way. You are also talking about 2 guys that have been in the great systems their entire careers.

and why is Eli in the same sentence as Peyton and Tom Brady?

It is more then just The QB play thats wrong with the team..The Whole team has a Problems. If you really think about it carolina was about 2 lose that game when moore threw that interception. The 49ers was just so sorry and they had No QB but Carr they knew the game was over. When Kasy kicked that field Goal..

If we had a Flacco, we'd have a winning record. Our best QB in our team history was Steve Buerlein, he could carry us when nothing else worked. Until we get a good QB from week to week, we won't be good, no matter who is the coach.

I think it's speculation to say we'd have a winning record with Flacco as our QB. Honestly, look at their WR corps and how their running game has been doing... AND THE COACHING... it's not like Flacco is dragging the teams to wins week in, week out.
