Fickle fans and coaching changes

I think a lot of people on here are in for a painful letdown if they think firing Trgovac will magically make this team better. For starters, it will take the defense a year or two to figure out the new guy, and vice versa. And let's say, best case scenario, the new guy comes in and the defense is very successful.....he's gone for a head coaching position after the season.

Sometimes continuity is not fully appreciated.

Can you prove this please?

Every year, it's a different coach:

2006 - FIRE HENNING!

2007 - FIRE CROSSMAN!

2008 - FIRE TRGOVAC!

Yep, and they fired Henning and look at the offense. It took off this year.

Crossman's ST's had a few bad games, but they picked it up and like someone else said the additions of Lloyd and Jones really made a big difference on ST's.

Trgo's D went downhill all season. No fire, playing not to lose, etc. Some of this can be attributed to Fox as well, but Trgo is in charge of the D. He needs to go.

Watching the Steelers/Ravens game last night was eye opening to me. The Steelers had a two score lead, yet they were still blitzing and playing wide open. If the Panthers have a two score lead, we play prevent D and the opponent drives the field every time.

...

2009 - FIRE FOX!

2010 - FIRE FUTURE HEAD COACH!

not quite right. you must be new around here.

2004....wanted Trgo and Henning gone

2005....wanted Trgo and Henning gone

2006....wanted Trgo and Henning gone

2007....wanted Trgo and Crossman gone

2008....wanted Trgo and Tim Lewis gone (along with Crossman)

2009....want Trgo and Lewis and Crossman gone. If problems cant be fixed get rid of Fox as well.

2010....we start over if Fox can't get the team to the NFCG or Superbowl.

better to continually underachieve?

that is what we have been doing for years under trgo.

continuity is overrated if it holds you back which it is and has been for a long time.

move us ahead or move along.

I can't attest to anything '05 and beyond but I remember coming in here in 2006 where the firing threads focused on Henning and Foxy.

Trgo got flak that year mainly because his defenses collapsed in the 4th quarter.

Last year, well, let's just say if the fanbase had their way, we would have a completely new front office at this point...

(who hypothetically, everyone would want some or all of the new guys gone at this point)
