"Panthers QB Clausen experiencing 0-5 again"

Jimmy had 28td and 4 int's in 2009. But yeah he lost all those games that year.

Notre Dame went 6-6 in 2009, losing to the 3 ranked teams they faced. Like I said earlier, I don't care if Jimmy had 45 TDs against 1 pick, the fact remains the team went 6-6. Which is more important- the 6-6 team record or Clausen's stat line?

Well wouldn't his last year results be the most reflective of his current ability rather than his stats from his true freshman year? I am merely demonstrating he got progressively better as he went through his college career and may do the same in the NFL. Give the guy a chance and the time to get better.

You can argue the same for Moore right? And his stats were better in each year and continued to get better?

Open your eyes man Clausen is just a regular dude that benefited from having a rich dad in high school.

Making stupid comments like that don't serve anyone. Clausen will be for four years whether he plays well or not. But Moore last year should serve as a cautionary tale to anyone that success for a few games or even a year don't guarantee future success nor do quarterbacks necessarily improve from one year to the next.

The truth is that no one knows what Clausen is going to do this year let alone next. Your expecting success and declaring him the future is just as ridiculous as those declaring him a bust. Of course you don't cut him nor do you assume that Moore won't be here either. If for example moore became the starter and had a good run then he would be a candidate to stay if he was reasonable in price. Again that will largely be decided by the new coach.

Nobody is expecting anything we are hoping for improvement and success out of Clausen. This whole thread was about how Clausen is dealing with this situation. Clausen haters have now turned it into a Clausen vs. Armanti thing.

But I can assume Moore won't be here next year. That is were you are wrong.

In the history of the NFL no incoming coach Has choosen too resigned a losing QB from the previous regime. You let me know when it has happen.

So you can hold out hope that Moore puts up a brady or Kurt warner like effort. I'll live in reality and hope we can find out if Jimmy is the future or we need too use a top 3 pick on a QB.

That game is very vivid still... There were atleast 10 drops from WR's and TE's. In 2008, much of the receiving core changed at ASU with Cline,Quick, and Blake Elder taking over for Dexter Jackson, TJ Courman, and Hans Batichon. In the same game, ASU dropped 5 Ints much like us vs Cincy. Right in their hands. They gave up a quick 21 points but played fine after that.

If your going to bash someone, please look up the stats on why they are what they are. I could pull up random stats like Armanti has the same number of Wins vs Michigan that clausen does with a better winning percentage.

They are both rookies and both are struggling with what they do, but Jimmy Pennington hasn't impressed me.

We're laughing if Clausen is as good as Pennington was. He was an elite QB before his multiple shoulder injuries.

And I'll hope you learn the difference between too and to. Sorry but it's in literally every thread you post. Makes your posts even less bearable to read.

Yes the team lost but you can see it wasn't jimmy fault they lost.

poo if Lebron James avg. 30+ points 8 rebound and 6 assist for the playoffs and his team loses. It's not his f'n fault he did everything he could too win.

With those numbers Jimmy can't be blame for 6 loses like he is on here. Nobody brings up this poo when talking about Golden Tate or Mac Floyd who also were on them teams.

No it doesn't mean that if he got better in college he will get better in the NFl. Did Ryan Leaf get better in college? Did David Carr? Doesn't everyone who gets drafted? he wil get time but who knows what happens.

If you are basing it off of 1.75 games then yes, he had a bad game. Many QBs have had bad games.

That wasn't the point of the discussion. People were claiming Clausen was some sort of God in college but his numbers were worse than Moore's numbers. Add in the fact that Moore has shown he can win games in the NFL and Jimmy has shown nothing and the real reason people love Jimmy is based on nothing more than hype.

It must suck to have someone else control how you feel about things.
