A receiver's land of opportunity (or field of quicksand).

We have 6 active WRs on the squad. One, or more of these guys (other than the old man) will seize the moment, catch the dream, and run with it. These suspect youngsters, and other teams' throw-aways will never have a better opportunity to show that they can be productive receivers in the NFL. Only chicken poo calls from the sidelines, bad and/or inexperienced QB play, and/or an O-line that has more holes in it than springtime streets in Detroit will stand in their way.

But, really, in the end I don't think that this motley crew of receivers will be able to blame anyone but themselves if they don't seize the day and make the most of it. I realize that there is plenty of reason to be negative or apathetic about what we have witnessed thus far, but a new day is on the horizon. I, for one, am decidedly optimistic, interested, and downright fascinated to see how this soap opera of the wide-outs is going to turn out.

It depends on how you look at it. we have 6 WR in a run heavy offense plus a new coach coming that wont have any loyalty to any of these guys.

So it could be a bad situation just depends on your outlook.
