DWill Should Get Atleast 20 Carries A Game

people want Williams to get 20 carries regardless of what's going on in game conditions. But not on first down all the time, and not on third. And Stewart needs more carries, and Goodson. But don't be predictable.

May as well wish away the 9 in the box.

Geez, have some of you actually watched a game this year? DWill is touching the ball more than anyone else except the QB. We are going 3 and out every series, and it doesn't matter if we run or pass. Did we even run twenty plays total in the first half Sunday?

Once we get a few first downs, Dwill will get more touches. But until we can convert a few, no one is going to touch the ball very much.

To be eaxct the Panthers have run 296 offensive plays this year.

DWill has run the ball 68 times and has 7 catches. That's 75 out of essentially 300 plays. 25% of the touches.

4.7 yards per run and 6 yards per catch. Damn I wish we fed him the rock more.

Sadly, we've already passed the ball 150 times this year.

As many have said there is no running game until the passing is fixed.

Actually until the playcalling and offensive gameplan is fixed.

It's very important to note that Deangelo's touches are down because the team is not generating first downs, not because they aren't or don't want to go to him. Big misconception.

Trent Dilfer was right on the money on this yesterday and frankly I have been too. You fix this problem with high % short yardage throwing around the box.

When a team is down by double digits in the fourth qtr, they are going to pass more. We have been behind by double digits in the 4tr in virtually every game.

Look at it this way. Our first 9 plays from scrimage Sunday were runs, and one Clausen fumble that he recovered. The result of that was that we were down 14-3.
