is it just me or was this guy actually being pretty nice about this? i mean he complimented pickles on going through some growing pains being a rookie, but said he will be a good player. not his fault our tackles couldnt block a midget on a tricycle right now.

At one point in the game he got scared, I'm ok with that. I've read quotes like that talking about experienced professionals. Idonije also says that he had a lot going on in his head, which you expect from a rookie, and he went on to say that Clausen has a bright future.

The kid's got talent, why are people surprised that he's playing like a rookie?

im not surprised at all, I think most of us me including are surprised at how bad matt moore sucked in the 2 games he played in. All of us are just frustrated at the season and would like a do over.

A lot of rookies that have come out lately have looked miles ahead of Clausen. It's not that he isn't putting up points, it's that he isn't moving the ball at all. Even Sanchez in his turnover filled rookie season had the ability to make plays. I'm not even going to bring up the other rookies who have played extremely well.
