The better question: How can anyone justify Clausen over Moore?

Yeah. What really pissed me off was that Moore, after barely losing to the Giants with a dazzling aerial attack was just about to torch TB when he was unfairly yanked from the lineup. Fox must have an agenda.

I actually don't have a guy. I'm a Panthers fan, I prefer Clausen to Moore but I hope Moore does well this week. Now please answer this question for me...how many games has Matt Moore won, or played worth a damn in, when the season mattered? How many touchdown drives did he lead his team on in four preseason games as a starter? How many times was he demoted in favor of Josh McCown after his first go-round of fabulous late-season heroics?

You are right Real deal doesn't have a clue. He compares a player not in his rookie year too a player in his rookie year and thinks he can use it in a debate. Without people checking his facts and calling him out about it.

1st maybe you need to look at my post before you start making dumb comments. I've said this whole thread I'm not a Matt guy or Jimmy guy. I'm a Panther fan and only want what is best for the team. I've said Matt was put in a no win situation from the time Jimmy was drafted. He would have had to put up a pro bowl performance type year. He not only was playing for his future here but Fox's and the rest of the coaching staffs job. Now he did fug up but it was not all his fault as it's not Jimmy fault. This is just a bad team. You have a owner who bailed out early. A coach who is now distancing himself from the bad personal decisions and now is coaching not to look bad to other teams.

It may look like I've been defending Jimmy but no. I've been defending the Idea that we have too find out if he can play before we go into the draft. Where we will have a top 3 pick and alot of different direction we can go.

I'd rather know if Jimmy can play before we pass on a QB like Luck or Mallet. I'm sorry if I live in reality. I'd rather not give Matt a showcase for other teams. Matt's a good guy and all but I don't care what he does after he leaves the panthers next year.

My whole focus is what's best for the panthers. Which is take the lumps this year (which is lost) and hope we get the #1 pick and a coach who knows the right way to use it.

If your focus is indeed what's best for the Panthers than you would have taken your time, looked at the stats I posted and simply came to the conclusion that out of all the QB currently on our roster Matt has been, and remains our best option. Once again, your lack for actually asessing the reality of the situation comes through. EVERY game we have played this year was winnable. EVERY game. In some it came down to just a couple of points or just a couple of plays.

We have been one good play away from winning, and avoiding one bad play in order to win in almost all of our games, DESPITE how much suck there lies in our offense. The one thing this team needs as a whole to put up some numbers is a good game manager with some leadership and experience and to get it together a little bit.

Please put away your dreams of a top 3 pick. It ain't going to happen. We will win some games now with Matt under center.
