And here's another look at Matt Moore's stats, and see why he DESERVES to start.

Believe the hype folks. I expect Matt to put up numbers closer to the ones above over the long haul of this season, than what you saw in the first two games.

I really hope he improves for his next start, because he's going to need it to keep his career going. =|

As exciting as it was to watch Moore take coverage sacks, get concussions, scramble himself out of bounds for a sack, lob into triple coverage and just generally wilt like a delicate little flower, I can see why you miss your guy.

Matt got benched because he's no talent trash. Jimmy might be too, but we'll have to wait a bit longer to find out I guess.

Yeah and Clausen could have wont the NYG or TB games! Both our QBs are ineffective, and we wouldn't be any better with Moore having started those games.

I hope Moore benefits from his benching. Same for Clausen. Just doubt it, because hte problems are so much deeper than at QB.

I actually don't have a guy. I'm a Panthers fan, I prefer Clausen to Moore but I hope Moore does well this week. Now please answer this question for me...how many games has Matt Moore won, or played worth a damn in, when the season mattered? How many touchdown drives did he lead his team on in four preseason games as a starter? How many times was he demoted in favor of Josh McCown after his first go-round of fabulous late-season heroics?

Hey, it wasn't Moore's fault we lost, it was that stupid defense not returning Manning's interceptions for touchdowns and forcing Moore to throw interceptions in the end zone just to make his comeback all the more exciting!
