The better question: How can anyone justify Clausen over Moore?

It's not garbage it's a fact. No in coming HC has ever resigned the losing QB from the year before he got their. I don't think in the history of the NFL that has ever happened. So Unless Moore leads us too the playoffs and saves Fox's job (and how likely is this too happen) he won't be here next year. Sorry that's hard for you to see.

Your right Jimmy may not start next year but he will be on the team that's a fact also. The 4 years left in his contract assures that.

No, it's not a fact. Maybe it's hard for you to see. It's likely he'll be cut, but it's not a fact. Now, you're little statistics about new coaches resigning losing qbs is ridiculous. I'm aware Moore will most likely be cut, but as of right now he hasn't been cut. It just sounds to me like an excuse why Clausen should start. It's purely hypothetical, like everything about Jimmy.

Kid I know you just started watching football 3 years ago but the point of my little statistic that you seem to miss was the word R-E-S-I-G-N. Moore won't be cut because they don't have too do that he doesn't have a contract past this season. He would have to be resigned by the in coming Staff. Which never happens unless the QB ripped it up the year before. Please get more years of football knowlege under your belt before you post your opinion.

OK!!

You say losing QB. That is not Moore. Moore is a winner. If he gets more games this year he will win games. He won games last year. Now what is your definition of a loser? What record do you need? I'll wait for you to look up stats then tell me. How often do they stay with a rookie QB who hasn't won a game and hasn't shown any promise?

First, don't call me Kid if you can't even differentiate between "to" and "too". Second, it's pretty ignorant of you to say I've only been watching football for three years. Third, I know you meant R-E-S-I-G-N. I used the word cut, meaning he wouldn't be resigned and let go. Also, what is your definition of "ripped up"? Did Moore rip it up at the end of last year? Just curious.

Dude this is not against Moore but he doesn't have the weapons or protection to be successful this year neither does JImmy. Plus he doesn't have the resume or history to make a new coaching staff want too resign him. I'm sorry but unless Matt takes this team too the playoffs and saves Fox's job he's gone. He has to many things going against him.

1st he will be 27 years old on a team with 2 younger QB drafted higher then him with multi year contracts.

2nd he doesn't have the resume or exp. to be the mentor or older vet back-up QB that this team needs.

3rd If your a Matt fan it's better for Matt anyway. I've stated this before but When Jimmy was drafted the writing was on the wall for Matt. He would have had to come out on fire to keep Jimmy off the field. His leash (as they say) was cut very short when Jimmy was drafted. Which isn't fair but that's football.

Alot actually examples= Jason cambell, Damarcus Russel, Brady Quinn,Tim Couch,Alex Smith,David Carr, Mike Vick, and Rex Grossman I can keep going with this but you get my point.

A young highly drafted QB can last 2 or 3 new coaching staffs and they always get 1st shot at the starting job when a new HC comes in.

Coaches are very vain and feel they can fix any player when they come in.

Well being "cut" and not being resigned are 2 different things. Just remeber that for other posting.

2nd Yes he did rip it up last year (8-1 td's-int's ratio is great) and if he would have done that to start this season we would be 4-1 or 5-0 and he would still be the starter. But he didn't (again not all his fault).

moore sucks. he is not a franchise QB despite delusional Carolina fan thinking he was back in July.

Why the f**k would you play Moore now? Your season is done, Moore will not be re-signed, and you might as well get Clausen some PT.

Certainly someone has posted the same in the past 29 pages, but i aint readin them all.
