I think Thomas should take some pressure off the offense. He is a nice reciever, that had a strong finish to last season but struggled under shannahan. So maybe he will beable to help us this year.

I have high hopes for Thomas. I really think he is going to blossom here. At worst he best he adds the potential for another dynamic play maker that we so desperately need. At worst....hey were defeated it can't get any worse

Actually the QB Presley at App State (the successor to Armanti Edwards) did that the first game of the year.

Was credited with throwing a 35 or so yard pass to himself taking it in for a touchdown.

(He actually threw it to a receiver, the receiver got hit by multiple tacklers, fumbled the ball, the QB Presley was following the play, scooped up the fumble and weaved his way through the defense for a TD.)
