Another reason why the MLB needs to get w/ times, and the new CBA needs to get done

A regular season sunday night game, featuring an 0-5 49er team and a Mike Vickless Eagles team completely obliterated a MLB playoff game in the ratings.

I mean, sure there was some intrigue, but you can bet a game like next week's Redskins vs. the Colts, or a Cowboys-Giants game will do even better. The owners and players can't let this cash cow go down for a year.

ESPN, writers, major market owner, and every other pro-player/major market worshipper will make sure that never happens.

The MLB hasn't been "America's Game" in quite some time now. I'm not at all surprised by the disparity in ratings. AMERICA eats, drinks and shits NFL Football.

Seems like I remember the NFL respectfully taking a Sunday night off so the MLB could have their World Series game. I don't know how long they've been doing it, but Id like to see them not do it one time.
