No coaching changes

Why would JR, a man who has penny pinched at every turn this year, be open to firing a coach with a contract that he will have to pay anyways just so he can hire another coach and have to pay them as well?

I swear, it's like our fan base can't add 1+1.

I don't know, maybe because he paid a QB $12 million to leave? Maybe because he cut ties with guaranteed contracts of other players before the season started?

Dude, I think you're the one who can't add one and one.

Lets revisit this at the end of the season and we'll see who lacking in the math department.

I'm not saying the Richardson is going to fire Fox. (Honestly, I don't think he's going to.) I'm just pointing out the flaw in your logic. You say he won't fire Fox because he will owe him money, but he cut a QB who was owed more than twice what Fox was.

I don't understand how that adds up.

If he was going to fire Fox he would have done it in the off season. Hell, he gave him the opportunity to walk if he found a better job. But Fox wanted his money and Jerry didnt want to hire another coach. So here we are.

Letting Jake go and the way he handled Fox are 2 different issues that dont really equate at all. He dumped all the vets in an effort to clear $$ in an uncapped year and not bear the brunt of it for years to come.

So, if he hasnt done it by now he prolly isnt goinna do it. It's not like Jerry is dumb enough to think that this team, loaded with young and in some places young AND sub-par talent is performing this way because of Fox. Jerry tied his hands and he knows it.

If Fox is fired it's not like it's going to make a huge difference. We will still suck.

I said that I don't think he's going to be fired this year (I think, if anything, Fox resigns. But, I doubt that happens.), yet you still try and argue your point to me, lol.

I think that if it's an issue of money, Jerry's not afraid to pull the trigger. Hell, he's shown that he's not afraid of blackouts, so he's definitely not against losing money.

I think you're just failing at reading what he is saying.

We're not saying Fox will be fired. We're saying that the reason he won't is not what you said in your first post in this thread:

You clearly indicate it is because of money issues. JR has demonstrated a willingness to take a hit financially. Further, firing Fox now does not mean he hires another coach mid season (almost guaranteed that wouldn't be the case...). Instead, he is sticking with Fox for other reasons (loyalty, respect, lack of care, who knows).

Does that make our position more clear?

Also, Fox isn't the only coaching change that coulda happened.
