John Fox & Jeff Davidson Should Be Fired ASAP

It's not all Fox, and it's not all Davidson. Firing them right now really isn't gonna save us at this point in the season.

Is it a mix of the two? Who else is involved in these situations when offensive plays are happening on the field? I would imagine that it ultimately comes down to Fox.

if JR didnt fire Fox before the season and only kept him around because of the CBA... there is no way he will do it now during the season.

For those who say, you cant blame for this debacle...... b.s. Despite the fact he probably didnt have a say in the roster purge it doesnt excuse the fact he continues to do the same cr*p over, and over, and over again. All Fox is trying to do is keep it close and prevent a blow out. Every 1st down was a run up the middle until about the 3rd quarter when they finally threw a pass on 1st down. And what pissed me off the most was the first drive when they got into the redzone he just ran it three times and settled for a FG. He does that even when he had a veteran team. Plus they do different stuff every week even in the same vanilla offense. For the first 4 games Goodsen is featured on 3rd downs and involved alot, then yesterday not at all. They had Rosario at WR a bunch, yesterday I didnt see it. I did see Jeff King thow out at WR

As a fan sitting there week after week watching live and on TV I would much rather see a team try to win a game than this cr*p. I would have much rather seen an attempt at a TD and risked a pick or sack on that drive then the garbage we saw. That is the part the pisses me off. The team is 0-4 and its just lets get our FG and hope our defense holds them the rest of the game and we get lucky at some time to win. FOR THIS FOX SHOULD BE CANNED RIGHT NOW but again it aint gonna happen. We are stuck with this garbage until next year.

No, but it could inspire people. At some point, things just become stagnant. People need to see a change in scenery. I think we've well reached that point.

Grass is always greener, and all that. Just remember that sometimes you can jump from the fire to the frying pan.

We've got a bunch of rookies, who have spent the last few months (trying to) learn the Fox/Davidson/Meeks playbook. Changing coaches now and having them try to learn a new system at this point may look even worse than what you are seeing now.

Then don't fire Fox or Davidson. Fire Scherer. Someone needs to be made an example of, first and foremost. Maybe that will cause some inspiration.

Then, see if any life sparks up from the coaching or the players. If it doesn't, fire the next guy in line.

I think all of this is moot point, anyway. I personally believe that Fox will resign before the season is over. The man is too proud to put up with this. He doesn't want his reputation to be tarnished, and he's eyeing other jobs already.

Who is responsible for putting mostly rookies in starting positions? Maybe we should start there. But like I said, doing that now isn't going to help this season. What we've got is what we've got (sorry for the near Foxism). Might as well accept the bad with the good for now, keep pulling for the team, don't get your expectations up very high, and try to enjoy yourself.

Was forced to listen to the game on the radio for the first half of the 1st quarter and you want to know why I think everyone on the team should be fired (except for maybe Meeks) is because on our first drive. Pushing the ball down and moving it. (remember...this is post watching them return it all the way down and scoring).

We drive down to the Bears 6 yard line. Now. We kick a damned FG. Remember...did you just see what happened when we KICK the ball to the Bears? You've got them at the 6. You could still make another 1st down. You've got them pinned at the 6. GO for it. You're already down a touchdown and we certainly aren't getting a helluva lot of attempts at that.

We kick the chipshot FG. What happens next. We kick off...and they get it out to the CHI 37 (again good field position).

People will argue you do not take points off the board, but you've got them pinned. If this were at the 20yd line...no brainer. You kick it.
