Medal of Honor

i just want to rent it now that i saw that last vid. it looks rushed. 4 hour campaign and 8 multi-player maps is very lacking.

review vid of black ops looked better. its still going to basically be same as the ones before it though with small tweaks. may just keep on with MW2. we'll see how many people are online playing it after black ops release.

Like I've said, doesn't surprise me, after playing beta, I didn't expect the game to be ready for a long time, almost a "blow it up and start over" situation. I'm pretty sure they are pushing this out a month before CoD in hopes that everyone buys it up before they realize CoD will be superior.

i checked the playstation store for a demo yesterday, and there isn't one. may swing by the only remaining blockbuster in wilmington this weekend to check for it, but negative reviews have convinced me to not just run out and buy it.

I got it and i like it. They first day was awful but that is the norm with EA games. EA has the worst servers. You couldn't get into matches, then it started kicking you from matches, lag, we would group up and half our group would be on the other team. It was really bad. 2nd day was better. Still have teammates being put on the wrong team. It's just like battlefield but faster. So people who swear battlefield was made by god might not like it cause it's going to be too fast for them. Snipers galore. And you have no idea where the shots are coming from. No indication what so ever. I kind of feel like i just paid 60 bucks for a BFBC2 map pack and a couple of new game types. The campaign has been pretty good. I started it on hard though and it is kind of easy. CoD will be better but it is still a lot of fun. Im not mad that i bought it. Remember if you rent it it is an EA game so you won't be able to play online without buying a code.

I think you can get a free trial and play for like a week though. I did that with madden when I gameflyed it.

Medal of Honor is a horrible franchise. It's a shame because the PC game that started it all was good. So was the play station one but I never played that one.

EA is a horrible company. They publish hits here and there but it's blatantly obvious the company is run by suits and not those who are truly passionate about games.

One reason the big 3 automakers got into trouble is they pretty much didn't care about the cars. It was all about volume. Eventually everybody got tired of it, hopefully this happens again too.

yeah ea has the codes to play online and they're known for closing servers. i didn't get into bfbc2 and have already ordered black ops. don't imagine i'll get this game since it doesn't appear to offer anything new to the genre and in fact offers less than we've seen in recent offeriings

I do agree EA is more about $$ than the passion..but thats why EA owns companies like Bioware..who are passionate and have them make the games..which Bioware games have been very successful for the EA Moneytrain.. Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2 , Dragon Age, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic and eventually Dragon Age 2 , Star Wars The Old Repulic (MMO), Mass Effect 3..and others.
