How can anyone justify Moore over Clausen at this point?

Learn from what??

Most Qb who sat their 1st few years sat behind guys who have been starter for years and had success in the league.

A rogers - Farve

P rivers - Brees

Tony Romo - Drew bledso

This is a situation like where your starter not that good and the rookie is not that good but the rookie has a better chance of being after the season.

Akiman

Peyton

Ryan

Flacco

Sanchez.

today's QBs.

Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Rivers, Schuab, Romo, etc. all sat.

Ryan, Flacco, Sanchez played as rookies.......ON GOOD TEAMS.

then you have the HOF lock and NFL great Manning who played as a rookie and sucked. Tough to use Manning as the example.

If we don't win a game with Clausen I say there is about the same chance that D Will and Moore are/aren't here. With so many contenders in need of a RB would he want to sign here? If we franchise him does Kalil sign? There are a lot of question marks on who will/won't be back next year so you can't base playing time only on that.

What????

Um, your breakdown of rookies starting and sitting was missing some key facts. Most of the best passers in today's NFL sat. Not started as rookies. The few rookies who started and are considered good up and coming QBs got there starts on good football teams. That is why those teams had success....b/c what was going on around them.

No I was breaking down the fact that the QB who did sit were backing up and learing from QB who were either really good and coming too the end of their carear or have had success over years.

Matt Moore is nethier!!!

the fact remains, the good passers in today's NFL sat. They sat and learned. Yes, they learned from vets...but they also learned by other means.

Clausen has no business being on the field. So many of you Clausenmaniacs are too busy trying to turn this into a Jimmy vs. Matt things. The best thing for Carolina in a wasted year would be to put Clasuen out there mid to late season when he has a grasp of the game and can start actually doing some constructive stuff to start his career.

the season was a waste before it started. Now, all these Clausen "fans" want him to get totally wrecked b/c forcing him on the field somehow makes him better than Moore........only thing it is doing right now is setting Jimmy back and is going to make it harder on him to have success......and a hance w/ the new coach.

Most likely it won't be the team decision they don't come back or get resigned. Plus D-will and Kalil have a value with other teams.

What value does Moore have with other teams?
