Media- Or- Smart People........

When the Panthers front office lock down communications, its pretty much speculation until they feel like saying something. The media has no teeth in forcing them say anything.

Until the front office decides we are not on a "need to know basis", it will be more of the same.

Likely is, but none of it's public at this point.

Steve Reed had a little deeper discussion, focused on the defensive side of the ball.

Late season collapse could spell changes for Panthers defense

The only rumor on the offensive side was Jim Skipper going to the CFL, and Skipper scotched that rumor himself.

When you think about it, other than QB coach, what impetus would there be to make changes on the offensive side?

The quote from Fox on why Gamble wasn't put on Fitz in the playoff game should be a "Sticky" on this forum forever. Unbelievable. Hey Fox......:dita:

You're referring to this, I assume.

We haven't done that all season and we didn't do that in the first game (against Arizona).

This is the quandary with Fox. He does a great job adjusting to teams that beat us the first time when we face them a second time. In-game adjustments and predictive adjustments though? Those are something of an issue.

Someone who does such a good job adjusting to teams that beat him should, logically, expect that opponent he's beaten would take similar strides to adjust. Right?

So why not attempt to account for that - not to mention lineup changes, injury issues, etc - rather than just figuring the same game plan will work the same way?

That's like going into a chess match figuring all you have to do is make the same moves you won with last game :nonod:
